Our friends at Peacetree Brewing Co. are taking their show on the road January 28 for a four course beer dinner at Le Jardin.

After several dinners in Knoxville, Chef Tag Grandgeorge will treat beer and food lovers alike at his new Des Moines restaurant. Grandgeorge will not only pair each course with Peacetree brews, but will also incorporate the beer into his culinary creations. Peacetree brewer and other members of the Peacetree team will be on hand to talk about their beer.

A complete menu follows:

First Course

Chipotle & cheddar broiled avocado, SideKick Kolsch braised

chicken tostada, onion and cilantro

Beer Pairing- Sidekick Kolsch

Second Course

Spinach salad, almonds, crumbled goat cheese, roasted turnips,

sweet onion and No Coast IPA vinaigrette

Beer Pairing- Hop Wrangler

Main Course

Red Rambler braised beef short ribs, sour cream whipped potatoes,

roasted baby carrots, pan gravy

Beer Pairing- Templeton Red

Dessert

NY style cheesecake with warm Black River Gumbo Stout-raspberry sauce

Beer Pairing- Imperial Stout
