Le Jardin will celebrate locally grown produce with this summer’s Garden Series. The July Garden Series dinner is set for July 21. Chef Grandgeorge and the culinary team will source local, in season ingredients to create a four course culinary experience. A complete menu follows:
First Course
Dijon and zucchini flatbread with Graziano’s Italian sausage, Arugula salad, balsamic dressing, cherry tomatoes
Roasted garlic and smoke pepper hummus, cumin dusted pita chips, zucchini pickles
Second Course
Mixed greens, candied walnuts, blueberries, strawberries, feta cheese, watermelon vinaigrette
Green bean salad, salsa fresca, almonds, Cojita cheese, pickled red onion
Third Course
Salade Nicoise, seared Ahi tuna, green beans, roasted potatoes, hard-boiled eggs, tomatoes, olives
Berkwood Farms pork chop, parmesan and sweet corn grits, cucumber salad, pickled radish’s
Zucchini, cherry tomato, sweet corn and angel hair pasta, olive oil, dill butter, goat cheese & walnuts
Fourth
Rooster Ridge cherry clafoutis, whipped cream, lemonade cookie crumbles
White chocolate and raspberry parfait with Amaretti cookies
Mocha pot de crème with whipped cream and sweet cherry soup shooter
This four course dinner is $45 and guests are able to choose amongst selections per course. There will be one seating and reservations are available at 5:30, 5:45 and 6:00 p.m.
The Garden Series will culminate with Chef Grandgeorge’s Annual Tomato Dinner on August 25. The Tomato Dinner will be $60 for a 5 course meal that incorporates heirloom tomatoes into each course. Like the first two dinners, guests have options for each course. The first seating will be from 5:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. with a second seating from 7:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
