Apple Dinner – November 30

The culinary team at Le Jardin is celebrating the Orchard November 30 with its annual Apple Dinner. The menu includes:

 

Amuse Bouche

Apple cider margarita shooter Hornito’s silver tequila, apple cider, Tajin spice, lemon juice

First Course

Wabi Sabi Farm roasted Sunshine Kabocha squash and Golden Delicious apple soup

Honey Crisp apple salad, green onions, Prarie Breeze white cheddar, pecans, lime crema

Entrée

Filet of beef tenderloin, blue cheese butter, roasted beets, Jonagold apple, lemon zest, Dijon walnut vinaigrette

Grilled Berkwood Farms Berkshire pork collar, buttermilk cheddar grits, roasted carrots,

herbed Braeburn apples, apple cider gastrique

Poulet Vallée D’Auge

Chicken thigh, Granny Smith apple, potato, carrot, mushroom sautée, Calvados cream

Apple cider roasted acorn squash, prepared the same as the chicken entrée

Dessert

Coconut macaroon, baked Ida Red apples, garam marsala, toasted Tuaca meringue, caramel sauce

Gala apple tart tartin, Chef Ashton’s homemade cinnamon ice cream

 

 

The Apple  Dinner is a reservation only dining experience featuring locally sourced apples. Dinner is $39 per person. Seatings are available from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Please call 515-255-5787 for reservations.
