Join Chef Tag and his culinary team in celebrating the fall season with a new fall menu and Apple Dinner.
The fall dinner menu starts Wednesday, October 8 and features old favorites;
Acorn Squash and Potato Gnocchi- Sage, brown butter, cream, Parmigiano-Reggiano.
Lamb Goulash- Spaetzle, tomatoes, green olives, roasted carrots, Celeriac, fried egg.
And new features that are soon to be favorites:
Mustard Crusted Chicken- Brown butter, maple syrup and sweet potato, rosemary and bacon hash.
Berkwood Farms Frenched Pork Rib Chop- Parsnip mashers, Red Rambler beer braised fennel, apple, balsamic-fig sauce.
Additional fall menu items include new flatbreads, soup and entrées.
The fall brunch menu begins Sunday, October 12 and features new menu items including:
Roquefort Crêpe- Pumpkin butter, Maytag blue cheese, brie, béchamel sauce.
Squash Omelet- Roasted acorn squash, brie, smoked ham, crème fraiche.
Tuesday, October 28 is the Apple Dinner, the latest in Chef Grandgeorge’s dinner series. The culinary team has designed a four course menu featuring more than a dozen varieties of heirloom and heritage apples.
The menu is in the works and will be based on research done at downtown farmer’s market and the availability of varietals.
The Apple Dinner is $42 per person for the four course apple infused culinary experience. The dinner is a reservation only event, space is limited. Please call 515-255-5787 for reservations. The first seating will be from 5:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. with a second seating from 7:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Each seating allows for a two hour dining experience.
