Le Jardin and Mo’ Grub  have teamed up to serve bacon themed food at the 2014 Blue Ribbon Bacon Festival on February 1.  The Le Jardin/Mo’ Grub booth will be located in the Jacobson Exhibition Center at the Iowa State Fairgrounds.

Le Jardin’s Chef Tag Grandgeorge lends his culinary creativity, Mo’Grub brings its dynamite locally owned spice mix,  Mo’ Rub, (and other products from its line) and all parties involved share a love of bacon.  With this menu collaboration you really can’t go wrong.

Iowa’s Golden Nugget Bacon Mac $3

Creamy mac and cheese made with Confluence Gold Beer,

Berkwood Farms Bacon and Mo’ Rub

Cirque de Leche Bacon Bars $2

A sweet and savory caramel bar with Berkwood Farms Bacon,

coconut and chocolate and a touch of Mo’ Rub

No Limit Pork ’em Pops $3

Crooked Gap Farms Pork Shoulder and Berkwood Farms Bacon fused with

Mo’ Rub and dipped in the sweet with heat MarMOlade. (All that, on-a-stick.)
